Mini VACATION

Daddy has a three day weekend so we are going to Dana's house!  We are going to go and do lot's of fun stuff!
I really can believe I am posting right now, I have Bible study in 58  minutes.  None of my children or myself are dressed, no makeup either!  I have to pack our bag still.  I need to clean out the car, which my husband will not sit in for a three hour trip unless I peel the old french fries off the back seat....  He hates clutter, doesn't bother me much.
I still need to wash some clothes.  Again why am I posting, I will tell you why, I think I am addicted, I really do, and what fuels me the most is that some of you will comment.  I love comments, I have talked about it here.  So since I am not going to be able to post for 3 day I just had to say something.
Oh and on a serious note, I took Luke to the Doctor yesterday, he was having some trouble breathing and the Doctor thinks he has asthma, I have asthma, I don't want my baby to struggle to breath.  This sucks!  He is also having major allergy's, so the doctor has scheduled him with a pediatric asthma and allergy specialist, get this they can't see him till, JUNE!
Please pray for him, he is only 6, and the testing is difficult.  Any suggestions as how to explain to a strong willed 6 year old boy that they are going to poke you, oh, about 150 times, to determine what your allergic to.

Have a safe and fun mini-vacation. I'm jealous! I'll do my best to pick your name for those cards-I think red might work!

Thinking about your little guy too!

Thanks for atleast saying SOMETHING!! I totally understand the addiction thing. I have certain blogs that I read regularly and when they don't post, I feel like a kid and wanna ask them to come out and play!!
Now get yourself goin'...go on, get!! LOL. And if you have a dog (I can't remember!) just put them in the car for a few minutes...they'll clean up the scraps!! And if you don't have a dog, I recommend a Chihuahua. They are scavengers. Mine live under our dining room table when the kids are eating..wink, wink. And whenever I want the crumbs outta my van I take them for a ride with us! Have a safe trip.

Blessings.

I don't have any other way of contacting you-except for comments :) but I know how you LOVE those! Go to creative blessings from the link on my website and contact her with your order. Make sure you say you're happy mommy. You can also email me (from my website.)

Have fun! (And I hope the testing goes well. I can't imagine that would be fun at all.)

I'm sorry to hear about your son's testing. My 7yo son has been through allergy testing three times since he was 13 months old. He also has asthma (on daily meds) and eczema (moderate to severe).

Poor guy. But he takes it all in stride. Kids are so resilient.

The back-poking test isn't to bad these days---each poke is very quick. If your son is getting the bloodwork allergy testing done as well, have them put Emla (sp?) cream on the blood draw site for 45 minutes. He won't feel a thing.

If you have any more questions about allergies/asthma/eczema, I am happy to answer. My son has been on every med out there, plus allergy shots.
