WFMW- Cupcakes

I made the most beautiful cupcakes this weekend.  I have seen beautiful cupcake idea's in Family Fun magazine and on a few cooking web sites, I made a red, white and blue theme.  I wish I could post pictures of my cupcakes but our beloved camera is broken so web pictures will have to do.  Let me say with baking time included it only took 30 minutes to make these easy and beautiful cupcakes.  I am going to make them again for the 4th of July, they are quick and feed a lot of people.

I made these with chocolate chips for the body, the icing was blue and the butterfly head was a red m&m, small pretzels are the wings, I skipped the antenna's but they looked great anyway!

I made these lovely flowers by cutting a large marshmallow in 3rd's.  The cupcake was blue and I placed a red marshmallow in the center for my red, white and blue theme.

For more WFMW tips go to Rocks in my Dryer.  For other 4th of July idea's go to Gotta Grow With it.

They almost look to pretty to eat. Since I'm TRYING to diet they are making me hungry. I'll take about 5, please!

I love them! I'm torn -- do I want to eat them or do I want to put them out for decoration? Decisions!

Neat!

Blessings!
