Happy Birthday Bo

My sweet baby boy is 5 years old today, he will be starting Kindergarten in the fall which is so overwhelming to think of homeschooling two children.  So many firsts start at 5, sports and school...

Here is our sweet boy on his birthday 7/16/2003.  Bo was born at 1:15 pm.  He weighed 7lbs and 10oz and was 20 1/2 inches long.  HD took this picture after we had dinner that evening.

This is Bo at his first birthday party.  We had a Blues Clues theme.  He really loved the cake!

This was Bo's second birthday.  I was totally crazy, I had a pony party with 35 people 5 days after I gave birth to Daisy!  Our boy loved his party.

For Bo's third birthday we went to a water park close to TBM and TBD house.  We had so much fun!  Bo loved swimming and his favorite thing in the whole world is to go on vacation (when he was younger he called it Ma-K-tion) and this other favorite thing is his Aunt.

Now for his fourth birthday we had a combo party with Daisy, they had a pony party (same horse his name is pistol) he had even more fun at 4 than 2, and so did I.

Happy Birthday Bo!  We love you more than words can ever express, you are a miracle baby the beginning of my healing.  You have given our family so much laughter and so many  smiles, everywhere we go people just love to say how cute you are!  You have a laugh like no one else in the world, it makes me smile just thinking of it.  You are a best friend to your older brother and a wonderful big brother to your sister, you make Mommy and Daddy proud that God choose us to be your parents!  We love you now and forever!

I love the picture of him coming down the slide!
I might write those girls a letter and give them our business P.O. Box. If they do not change and find out where I live they will come begging for money plus, I don't want Madi being around that. She has been up close with two people (different occasions in public places) on crack before. Very scary to be around someone on that. One guy grabbed at her and touched her mouth! As soon as I smelled him and realized what he was doing, I ran off with her. These are old friends we will bump into at the store. It makes you sad and angry at the same time.

Happy Birthay Kiddo!

http://girlydos.blogspot.com/search/label/Rag%20Curls

This is the website where I learned about Rag Curls. Basically you just cut strips of rags or material about 6-7inches long and 1 inch wide(approx). You just use it like it was a regular curler. It is hard to get the hang of it b/c the rag is so small and it's hard to get a grip of the hair around it to start winding in down the the base of the head. It helps to have the hair slightly damp too. Once you get it rolled you just tie the two ends of the rags together. I wrap the hair tight to the rag, not leaving any loop, unlike the blog I sent you. This is b/c I like tight curls. Play around with it! I like to put them in after I have washed her hair or at least dampened it from the bath. Then she sleeps in them and I make sure they are totally dry and I take them out. Let me know how they work out!

Happy Birthday young man!!!

He seems to generally have something on his head in those photos. Perhaps covering up some male-patern bladness, like me?

Happy birthday sweet boy! I'm was so blessed to be there the moment you were born (and the first to notice the dimple in your chin). We love you so much Bo Jangles!

Well happy birthday! Time sure flies . . .

And I can't believe Mom threw a party 5 days after giving birth. Wonder woman for sure.
