This is my fruitless attempt at teaching my Grandma how to keep her eyes open for a picture.
"see Grandma open them really wide like this!"
"No No that's not it" Open your eyes...
"Maybe if I look up here they will stay open"
"Oh Forget it!" We will just blog it!
For lots of fun with photo's go to We Are THAT Family.

There must be some gene for shutting eyes during photos - my firstborn has the same "condition"
Very funny!!!
So funny! She's too cute:) I can just imagine whoever was taking the picture saying "nope, eyes closed again." I would have been laughing so hard by picture number three!
What is it with grandma's and their closed eyes? We just took 4 generation pics at Thanksgiving with my grandma and her eyes were closed in many of the shots. :-)
Your Grandma and I share the same disease! Everyone always has to retake my pictures!
Ha! She gets an A for effort!
Aw, that was a nice try and she's beautiful anyway!
That's so hilarious! Mom..keep your eyes open!! teehee
This is SO funny. I love it!
My nephew does the same thing every photo!
That's hilarious! Do you have any of her with open eyes?
LOL...too cute! My oldest daughter ALWAYS squints her eyes while posing for pictures! It makes me crazy! You both look beautiful!
are my kids gonna do this to me when i'm older? bwhaha. this was a hoot. and grandma, it's MUCH better having them closed than all the bugged-eyed ones i've had taken!
Gramma is sweet!
my oldest does the eyes shut on all of our pics too..or makes them abnormally big in trying to keep them open!
It looks like she was napping on the sofa and you just propped her up to take a picture.
Or maybe some spiced punch was being served.
These are hilarious!!!!!
Did you know there is a picture of Grandma F and all her daughters..... she took scissors and cut the pic right across the shoulders of everyone so nobody could see the problem caused by the "gene" that is prominent in many of our family members. I guess that is one way to do liposuction!
That's pretty funny. I do the 'open your eyes really wide and by the time the flash hits you your eyes are normal looking'.
