Back in December we all went squirrel hunting as a family. We got our squirrel dog for our children Christmas 2 years ago. He is a very sweet doggie, even though he got in a fight with a skunk! On this Saturday morning we got out in the woods at 7am, we got 5 squirrels. Yes I do cook them and yes they kind of taste like chicken... They are good fried with gravy, but what isn't good fried with gravy?

okay so that chicken meal you had prepared tonight for your family had me put you WAY up there w/ good ol martha stewart, but the squirrel meal...well i won't judge cuz i've never tried it.
but i know one little dog around my house who, if he ever does catch one of the nasty critters taunting him day in and day out...he will swallow it up first!

Hey happy mommy, it's been over a week and there's no new posts! What's going on here? Are you still busy taking down those Christmas decorations? Just playing with ya, we're snowed in today and I'm getting a chance to catch up on internet life.
