This is my Grandpa. As you know we celebrated his 79th Birthday on Saturday at my house. The picture below is of him laughing as we tried to get a good picture of him and my Grandma with their eyes open....
Taking pictures of them with their eyes open just didn't work, so we took a picture of them kissing. My Grandparents, have been married for 57 years. They love each other very much and are a wonderful example to their kids what a marriage should be, loving!
This is my sweet Aunt (Twice Blessed Mommy) and her sweet boy Tate. Tate liked my Pea Pickn' cake very much.
I was trying very hard to get Reese to take a little nap... She has been in a lot of pain, she just got a shell for her blind eye, this will make both eyes look the same and it hurts. In this picture she had finally fallen asleep.
This final picture was taken yesterday, the flood gates have opened people, 5 large chickens just weren't enough, we have lost our stinking mind I have No idea what we are thinking we got 3 baby chickens.... Daisy is kissing the chick on the head. I was holding it for her, they are too small for the kids to hold just yet. They are only 1 week old.
Happy Tuesday!

What great photos! You're so blessed to have your grandparents with you! And what precious babies!
And about fried squirrel with gravy? Honey, we need to talk.
Was that the best picture of me that you could post for the world to see? I was pretty dogged out and I guess it showed!! My babies look great and I guess that's all that matters (yeah right). That's a very cute picture of my dad but he turned 79...not 9!! Love you.
(Let's work on a better picture of me next time..ok?)
We are that Family~ Thank you! And really Fried Squirrel is pretty good....
Twice Blessed~ So the dyslexic in the family spells everything else right and you see the mess up! I fixed it! And you do look good in that picture! And your babies are beautiful!
What a sweet picture of your grandparents! YAY, more chicks! Do you have them inside or in the chicken-mansion?! ;O)
I love the picture of your grandparents!!! That kind of love is so inspiring. I can't help but feel that if more people could see examples of marriages like that --- our divorce rates wouldn't be so high.
Love like that is proof that sticking together through the tough times is not only worth it but an investment in a lifetime love.
Wow.
Blessings to you!
Lacy
I'm thinking to myself, how do you have time to have chickens, three kids, a birthday party, make pea pick'n cake, take pictures, blog and have pretty red fingernails AND a smile on your face!
Dude, HM, you rock!
I wanna be your real life friend...does that make me a blog stalker?
Becky, the maid
Absolutely precious! Your family is beautiful--especially your grandparents. What an example for your children!
And, as crazy as it sounds--I am still jealous of the chickens!
Yay -- you're striking!
I just love the pictures of your grandparents. They make me miss mine...
Thank you all for your sweet comments about my Grandparents! I love them so much, We lived with them when I was growing up, so they raised me.
Kelly~ the baby chickens are in the house for now.
Becky~ Thank you, I am honored you are my blog stalker! I love the attention. I paint my nails while we do math flash cards, so I educate and beautify all at the same time.
Love the pics, especially of your grandparents. So sweet!
